Friday is not that exciting anymore is it now that we are all staying at home. Are you enjoying it or are you beginning to go a bit stir crazy?
One of my daughters ordered a couple of the diamond painting kits today for her and her daughter to do. I had been thinking of trying one myself after a Facebook friend contacted me this week to let me know there is a new direct sales company selling the diamond paint kits. I did find a very nice Bengal Tiger that I wouldn't mind doing. Geaux Tigers! Well, sports will be back one day!!
Today went by fast for me. I helped the hubby get the trailer loaded up and he went to out house in Louisiana and mowed the grass and some yardwork. He left two things, the holster/brace/vest..whatever you call it for the weed eater and the weed killer.
I went outside and worked in the yard here and cleared out some privet growing along the road out on the pasture side. It was a nice and sunny day to be outside and good to get a bit more of the yardwork done. I also trimmed back behind the chicken coops.
I knocked off around 3 pm and came inside and got dinner organized. How was your day?

I did some light housework and laundry. Also, exercised and watched a movie with my husband. He did a few home repairs. On my way to bed now. Night.

I was thinking the same thing about Friday, how normally we are so excited and looking forward to the weekend. But now, every day is the exact same, whether it's a weekday or a weekend day. So what do we have to look forward to now on a Friday? haha
But on the flip side, it also now means that we don't have to be bummed out on Sunday nights about going back to work on Mondays!

@moffittjc I was doing good with waking up early until hubby retired. He is sleeping later and he deserves it so I'm not going to make him get up. I figure when he is better rested he will get up on his own earlier. So I'll be patient for now. I am finding that this is making me sleep later also. That has to change!

One more day down of the lockdown! That is a good plus there to not dread Monday for those working.
One thing I have noticed is we are sleeping later. That is in part due to going to bed later, but in general I don't like sleeping this late. I'm pushing it to get things done, cooking, cleaning kitchen, laundry, etc. All things that HAVE to be done.

@kareng I've always been a night owl, but it's been years since I've last had the opportunity to enjoy late nights, since I have to get up so early for work. I've quickly fallen back into my night owl habits, but I am still waking up super early in the morning. I am making up for it by taking long naps during the day. I'm going to have the toughest time getting back on schedule once this crisis is over.

I haven't been bored yet either. I'm enjoying the outdoors and working in the yard for now. One of my daughters and I have decided to take up diamond painting and have ordered several kits. She got one of hers in already and she is working on it with her daughter. They love it, so hoping I do too! I have ordered enough kits to last for a year. Ha!
