A Toast to Easter

After my childhood memories came other about past Easters. Back in Riga, Latvia on the outskirts of the city was a wonderful Open Air Museum. I had all kinds of holiday celebrations. Sometime my late husband and I would attend because we got out in the fresh air and it was always fun with Latvian folk dancing and so much more. From one delightful time is this photo of Martin toasting to Easter. You can see the decorations and after I took the photo we both sat down and enjoyed our cold beer. At least now this photo brings smiles

I love the tree and decorations. Now why have I never thought of that? Next Easter maybe.

@VivaLaDani it is funny that way. I always saw him like this. I never saw what was really happening and now when I compare photos there was something no right. However, he never complained and he was never sick until that final time,,,
