holy week shows i just remembered

happy easter, everyone!
in the past, there wasn't much to watch on tv during holy week.
but in later years, the time at home became bearable when two american tv sitcoms were shown here: 7th heaven and touched by an angel.
7th heaven was about the camden family in california headed by pastor eric camden, his wife annie and their 7 kids - matt, mary, lucy, simon, ruthie, twins david and sam -and their white fluffy dog happy.
touched by an angel was about an angel named monica working on cases, her supervisor tess and adam the angel of death. they ride on a red convertible.
now people have so many choices on what to watch and where to watch it.
they're not stuck to just one show and one tv set in the living room.

@hereandthere 7th heaven is all i can remember but all the same i never watched it.
i think the reason why we.barely watch tv nowadays is because of our gadgets.

@Janet357 imagine in the past, everyone has to agree what to watch and there was only one tv. if you don't like it, you wait until it's over and convince the rest to change the channel.

yes, it's been many years. i can't even remember what the last episodes of both shows were.
it's only now easter sunday (though it's 10pm already) that i notice how different and luckier we are now even with the ongoing lockdown.

@hereandthere I didn't mind watching these shows. I liked 7th Heaven a bit more than Touched by an Angel but still quite good.

I don't know touch by an angel but I remember the series 7th heaven which sometimes on marathon. I love that show but that was long time ago

i don't either for many years now. this was just a flashback of a different time. i don't know if this was still being shown when you were younger.
