I Missed the Meteor Shower

I was not able to witness the Lyrid meteor shower late evening last Wednesday til predawn of Thursday. I slept late but I remember it only at 1 A.M Thursday. I go out and search at the sky but I'd seen none. The sky was clear with plenty of bright stars but city lights perhaps affected also their visibility. Did you witness the celestial event? In photo was the only star reached and captured by my phone's camera.
