This is a book that I found when I brought a big box of books at an auction a few years ago.
This is a lovely book with the full title `Art Deco the golden age of graphic art and illustration' . It has some lovely images of Art Deco art, fashion, glass, bronzes , advertising etc. There is some lovely text explaining each piece of artwork , giving information on artists, names and dates. I have learned a lot from reading through this lovely book.

@lazydaizee When I look straight on, I see several enormous trees in a schoolyard and behind them a school building (same style). The reason why I live there is that I was a teacher in this school. My walk from door to door lasted five minutes!
When I look to the left, I see a range of hills in the distance.

two weeks ago i had to do some research about art and i also read about art deco. i'm glad you enjoyed the book

@lazydaizee only basics about all periods, but we had to research pointilism and pointilism artist the most.

@aureategloom I have learned something new about art today. Before I read your comment , I did not know what pointillism was. I looked it up on Wikipedia and now I know.

Art deco designs are really fun and look very modern although the art deco period would have been about 90 years or more ago.

There are some lovely pictures in this book, I sometimes just like to look at the pictures if I do not feel like reading.
