How did you decide on the name for your child ?

For my twins I liked the name Derek but didn't know what to name the other and then I realized that if I wrote Derek, changed the K to a J and spelled it backwards I had Jered. Thats how they got their names.

My daughter, Patricia Dianne, is named after my mother's best friend and my mother in law. Her middle name is my mother and my middle name. So it's kind of a family tradition. My son, Michael WilliamScott, is named after 2 of my uncles. His middle name is his great grandfather and his uncle's name out together. When he had his first baby, my daughter in law loves the name Sophia. So they named their first baby Sophia Rose. Unfortunately, she miscarried during the 2nd trimester. But we've been Blessed with another granddaughter. I'm not sure how they came about with Avery, but her middle name is Grace. For the Blessing she is. Now we're Blessed with a grandson. His name is Levi, from the bible. JosephAllen, for his Grandfather and my dad's middle name. I already know from my daughter, when she has her little girl, they're working on girl's first name. Dianne will be her middle name. Most likely when they have a boy, his middle name will be his Grandfather name, Randall.

I've forgotten how we chose names. They were just names we liked but it turned out they were the two names belonging to one uncle so we got lots of brownie points from him!
