Does place in the family/ no. of siblings effect character?

Like, if you're the olderst, as you more serious and responsible, more frivolous if the youngest, do you think all only children are lonely and spoilt?

It depends a lot on the type of family you come from. I was the last of five and I was lonely and spoilt. My eldest grandson is an only child and he is not lonely and is definately not spoiled.

Were you the youngest by quite a lot? Then it's a bit like being an only child, isn't it, especially if the older ones all left home when you were young.
