A Time , Times and half a time - The Evenings of the world

Am seated reading a book and an old friend gives me a call. You know the kind of friend that you would debate about stuff all night long.
Seeing his call I knew I needed to summon all of my reasoning abilities and set them sober if I am to win the argument that will befall me.
His name is Martin.
Me: Hey Man it's been a while
Martin: I know been busy trying to digest this all quarantine thing..
Me : Tell me about it
Martin: yeah, it's actually why I called.
Me : okey
Martin: Do you know that this COVID is a sign of the end? It's actually the beginning of the end .
Me: what are you talking about Man?
Martin: Do you understand what " A time , times and half a Time.Means ??? "
Me : av never heard of that what's that ?
Martin: look it up and see for yourself
...
It was the shortest conversation I have ever had with Martin, simply because I didn't know what that
" a Time,times and half a time" means ..
Do you have any idea what that could be? Do you also think COVID 19 could be a sign of something??

Yes, I am familiar with the expression. It appears in the Bible at Daniel 12:7 and Revelation 12:14. I do believe there is a connection with the "end times" which many Bible students believe that we are living but exactly what it means will be interpreted in different ways.

@Helikaputo Yes, this is found only in the Bible and both Daniel and Revelation are prophetic books that are being fulfilled in our days. Some prophecies are a bit complicated to explain without a background in the Bible. Have you ever read the Bible?

Ken @kanuck1 stated it for all of us. Those who think we are not marching toward the end might think we are in the middle? We know we are not at the beginning as that already happened. Once you look up more about this you will have an interesting conversation with your friend.
