Does anyone here use VPN?

Hello friends. For those who don't know, a VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a service which hides your identity on the internet and can unblock certain sites or pages which are blocked due to georestrictions. Most people would define it as a secure tunnel between your device and the server and the website or webpage that you want to visit.
Does anyone here ever used a VPN or is currently using one? If so, what is your reason for using one? How trustworthy do you think that this system is?
PS: I know that I post here only once in a while but I still keep in touch with the site. This site is one of my favorites because it is so easy and has people from all over the world.

@MALUSE The installation process is pretty simple. If you have installed any software on a computer you should be able to do this. The idea is that VPN is not free though. There are some free versions of VPN's out there but they are not that good as the paid ones.They most likely don't even do half the job that a paid one does.

@Cristi_Ichim That sounds interesting. Yet, I'm a computer numptie (a wonderful word!) and wouldn't know how to install the thingy.
