Am gonna watch the movie The Terminal. The main actor is Tom Hanks, one of my favorites.
What makes this movie so interesting is that it was based on a true story.
Merhan Nasseri who lived in Charles de Gaulle from August 1988 to August 2006 because his refugee certification documents were stollen. He was forced to stay there until they confirmed his identity.
But since, he had no passport and other pertinent documents, no one claimed him and that stuck him in the airport for 18 years.

Well, partly it is because he refused to go to Belgium to collect the documents. If you have followed his story (I did because I lived in France). In 1995, the authorities of Belgium asked to Nasseri to present presented himself in person to give him personal documents. They granted permission for him to travel to Belgium, but only if he agreed to live there under supervision of a social worker, Nasseri refused because he wanted to go to the UK. At least the French authorities gave him a personal space where to live in the terminal.

I agree. I've seen most of his work and it has always been good. My husband and I just saw Forest Gump the other night.

I remember watching that movie a long time ago. Very good story! It was released in theatres in 2004. Steven Spielberg directed it and most of his movies I enjoy

Yes, I love the movie. I really like how he made the best of an otherwise weird circumstance. I also like Tom Hanks very much.
