it could be from people giving you negative ratings?
I sent MyLot a question, and they replied 8 daus later, so hang in there, they'll get back to you eventually! lol

I'm still waiting for an answer to an email from them that I sent over 2 weeks ago :( It was an enquiry about whether I could refer my husband (being on the same computer/ip), nothing complaining so they shouldn't be avoiding answering it.

My points also took a reversal a couple of weeks ago _hope_ and I sent a message to myLot, using the "contact" section. They did respond to me and said that it was because some discussions had been deleted due to them being inappropriate. These were discussions started by others, and I had responded, which was why I lost points. If the discussions deleted were that bad then my comment would have been something along the lines of "this is an inappropriate discussion and you should not be asking such personal questions in this forum". That'll teach me to make such comments. LOL
That was why I lost some of my ratings, or at least that was the explanation I received and I have no doubts that it was true as well. I did go for a bit of a browse but couldn't tell if or what had been deleted.

I actually took a look at some of those on my friends list and found that some of their discussions had been deleted, and as I had possible made a comment to some of those discussions that is why I lost points. I never make a one or two word response, as I don't think that constitutes a discussion.
I guess the morale here is that if something is not quite right, then we should not make a comment or else we will lose points/ratings, as sooner of later the discussion will be deleted. :)

Likewise...they aren't taking points away today from me. But, they are not giving me points for posting either. I don't know for sure what is happening. I do hope they get it fixed soon.

My points froze for a while but they finally started moving again. What is important and I think more important then the points moving is that my earning have been moving for actively participating in discussions. Responses are what drive the point system, not comments. When you get responses to one of your discussions the points should move up and when you respond to discussions they should move up also.

This site has a lot of Bugs in it, Yes, but nothing to where I get so fed up with this site I want to quit. I have met way too many interesting people on here to give this site up. To me, it is way more than the $$. That is just an additional Great incentive.

That is so annoying. Mylot will have to fix this problem. Its really not very good. I haven't had this happen to me (yet) but I do feel for all the people it has happened to.

It's highly annoying, but it is some kind of glitch, I've noticed it drop five points at a time when it errors when I post at times :S It really needs to be sorted out, it makes me wonder if we are actually getting paid for those missing points because I have noticed my earnings are reduced substantially on days that it is worse!

Do your point get up-dated later on in the day? I noticed my rating has not gone up all day, and I have posted all day.

mine decrease when i post a reply they have done this all this week it happened first post this morning and i just made another reply and they havent added it to my points
