Whether a crisis or not, I stick to my rule of spending money judiciously. I don't buy things unless I really need them.

I tend to not spend money unless necessary, I usually don't find it hard to save money. I guess it's important to make the best out of everything, using each tool at the fullest and recycle whenever it's possible. It might be worth learning which wild plants are edible and available in the area, they can serve both nutritional and medical purposes. Also, I think it's very important to connect with the neighbors and create good relationships as they can really help during these hard times. We are social creatures after all. However, we're more likely to help people we know and trust, so getting to know people and make friends can save lives.

This is a serious issue now. People should start to think saving atleast now. I always try to spend less and my husband spends the double. We fought, fought n fought over budgetting over years and now I just quit. I told him to do whatever he wants, i just need bare necessities at home.

Before you spend a cent, ask yourself if you really need to.
