Some years ago, we thought that fat made us gain weight, but research has show it is the other way around.. some seem to lose weight by eating fat. The carbs seem to be the culprit What do you think?

I think they keep coming up with new ideas so they can sell more magazines, diet books, etc. Seriously though, I don't know what to think.

In 1958 researchers found out that fats are necessary for absorbing vitamins and minerals from food. There are some skilled scientists at Stanford university and they have taught us a great deal.

Someone needs to sell a lot of fats, ridiculous! Only the quantity makes the difference, our body needs both fats and carbs.

I have heard that our body needs some fat so that we cannot stop from eating it entirely. But the same happens with carbs. Still, if we are obese, those rules donĀ“t apply and we need a doctor.

Our cells need fat for absorbing vitamins and minerals..we can avoid carbs like white sugar if we want to stay healthy.

I did not know that. I cut all of the fat off of all the meat that we eat.

I have no idea but the best way not to have to worry about it is simply to be sensible and reasonably active
