I don't belive so I think it is wrong to tell people that they cant smoke outside or in a smoking section in a restruant I just think it is so wrong of it is legal to buy cigerretts at the age of 18 then it should be legal to smoke them in restruants and outside in public...

I think smoking in public buildings should be banned, but not outside. Smoking sections in restaurants, unless it's in a seperate room, won't contain the smoke to just the smokers. But outside... no, no ban on outside smoking.

there are quit a few restraunts that have doors that close off the smoking area and that works real well I am even for designated smoking areas but not banning it all together...

Yes, it should be banned in public. If a person wants lung cancer, that is there choice. But, inocent people should not be subjected to that smoke. It's quite unpleasant.

I agree innocent people should not have to suffer for our decision to smoke but if we are out side they should not be standing so close...

i think it should be banned in restaurants (which it is where i live) for the sake of those who choose not to pollute our lungs. second hand smoke is justs as harmful as smoking. having smoking sections makes little difference. smoke doesn't care what part of the restaurant it's not supposed to float into.

I agree inside a restraunt should be ban thats fine but to ban it outside as well and say you can only smoke at your house I think is wrong...

I dont think so. But my suggestion will be to have a certain places where smoking is allowed. Isnt it nice to have such an environmental friendly country.

I have tried three times to post a response to this question and all three time it keeps saying it isn't responing. Getting upsetting ts say the least. A lot of resturants around where I live are now smoke free. Smoking in public places would be okay if it was seperated from the non smokers, vent so the smoke was leaving the area, the restroom was on the non smoking side. I seems that the non smoke has to cross the smoking section to get to the non smoking section or the restroom. One resturant near me used to have a smoking section that was divied fron the non smoking section by two doors that were seperated by about 6 feet. Someone walking down the street should be able to smoke, you should be able to smoke in your own car. Women who are with child shouldn't smoke at all.

Yes, public smoking is bad for the general public.
