Alexander Valterovich Litvinenko: 4 December 1962 or 30 August 1962~ 23 November 2006 was an ex-KGB agent and FSB lieutenant-colonel. After criticising his superiors on crime fighting issues, Litvinenko left Russia for the UK in 2000. He then published two books severely criticising the government of President Vladimir Putin. On 1 November 2006, Litvinenko suddenly fell ill, was hospitalized, and died from Polonium-210 poisoning on November 23. Litvinenko's illness, notoriety as a former FSB/KGB agent, and public accusations that Russian government officials were behind his poisoning, led to worldwide media coverage. Who do you think he was poisoned by? That's the point of this discussion. Do you see reasons for that poisoning?
