Good morning/night. How are you all? Hard work means when you put all the efforts and time in any work without any shortcut. Smart work means focus for the same results but with planning and shortcuts. When I was in school I don't use to go through all the topics. I used to go through that topics which was asked again and again. I used to do previous 5 years question papers.I think this is smart work. What do you think about this? And what do you like to do -smart work or hard work?

Both hard work and smart are required and depends on the situation. Climbing a mountain requires hard work even with the best of tools. You cannot gain muscle strength without exercise which needs lots of efforts and this is called hardwork. Smart work helps to reduce efforts with better results at workplace but during the learning phase hardwork is required.

Smart work and hard work both important but sometimes smart work becomes hard work too. Its means are different at a different thing. Yes, i mostly did the same thing which you said as last 5 years' papers from what we get some idea.
