Third World War ?

Lately the feud between China and India is increasing at a border that is still in dispute. In fact, as many as 20 Indian soldiers were reported killed and 40 Chinese soldiers killed or injured due to clashes. This clearly makes many parties feel worried. They fear there will be an open war between China and India in the near future. If this happens, it is not impossible to drag their other allies to war. And finally the third world war erupted. Are you ready to face it?

just looking at the image in your discussion makes me quiver. i would not even imagine that the world will have war among nations.

Though India has taken a tough stand for it's sovereignty, war is not on it's card. There was a tough talk from India's side making it very clear to China that it can not be unnecessary bully all the time. Hope China gets it clear.
The whole world is struggling with the pandemic that has claimed more lives than any world war would. No war would be welcomed in a civilized world.

It is time for all war to be put aside. But as long as people crave power, there will be wars. I doubt that this situation between China and India will devolve into an actual war. There may be some more shooting but they will settle their difference or at least come to a truce at some point. That is what has happened in the past between them. Personally, I do not see the importance of that particular piece of land, but then, I do not live there and have no vested interest in either side.
And it could be this is just a distraction from what is happening in Hong Kong.

@Babale Your guess is as good as mine as to what the US will do with what is going on in the South China Sea. I would not want to see us going into a war with our current President, I do not believe he is fit to run this country and certainly not competent to run a war.

Hopefully this is the case, but China is not acting alone with India. They also have problems with other Asian countries, including Indonesia, by claiming the entire South China Sea region unilaterally. If the United States is unable to hold it, then who will?

Absolutely, it is inconceivable how devastating the world would be if two nuclear nations fought each other. Win to charcoal, lose to ash.
