Feeling a little Squirrely today

Thankfully today is my day off.
I am feeling a bit squirrely and just can not wait to get out of work
I told my friend I might help her with some yard work at her new house..
But time will tell whether I really feel up to doing that. lol
It's supposed to rain in the afternoon.. I guess I got decisions to make.
This little grey squirrel is one I caught eating last week at my favorite cemetery
(Cedar Hill cemetery in Hartford, CT) it is where Katherine Hepburn is buried. and is just so beautiful there.
I might just go take so more pics.
What are your plans for today?

@minx267 i feel sad when i watch on TV how squirrels are targeted for food.

@ridingbet I don't know. I have never eaten one. But in the southern part of the US they do!
And the Red Tail Hawks I have been watching seem to think they are tasty...

LOL. JJ is a bit obsessed with Squirrels ... and Cats.. and raccoons come to think of it.
I LOVE the idea of avoiding reality.. tomorrow or technically today.. will be my only day off this week. so IF I am to try that this would be the day...

Beautiful squirrel picture! He looks very happy in his environs.
We had a little rain last night. Santa Fe is funny this time of year. I'm learning more the longer I live here, of course. But late July through September/beginning of October is monsoon season. Rain or thunderstorms are always not far away but seemingly difficult to predict, at least the exact locations. The sky looks different in every direction.

Thank you.. actually they are pretty evasive.. but my camera has an incredible zoom lens and I can get this shot from across the street easily- I also tend to stay in my car when photographing the wildlife.. and they don't run as often from the vehicles.. they don't find them as threatening as someone walking on 2 feet.. lol

i plan to pack my stuff for two days in college town and that's it about today.
also, we rarely see squirrels here.
and i hope you get out work soon and have fun. and it would be nice if you helped your friend, you said you would so...
