Monday Update

The dog is doing okay still on her medicines and seems to be feeling a bit better, the pain medication is making her very tired though. We are feeding her cooked chicken which she is eating quite well. I finally got some sleep! After 30 hours straight awake I called my doctor and she phoned in an extra medicine to help with stress and sleep temporarily. So I slept all last night and napped again this morning. That is all for now.

Glad to hear that. I wish you would post again another discussion posting her pic. I miss my dad's two chihuahuas. I also Chihuahua Beverly Hills is one of my favorite dog movies and your fur baby looks like Chloe- she knew how to play piano in that movie, and that amused me so.

My dog is certainly a princess like the one in Beverl Hills Chihuahua! She doesn’t want dog food since she got sick...so we are cooking chicken just for her.

@Janet357 And amazingly smart. She answers yes and no to questions (either spins in a circle or shakes her head). And is a world class blanket/pillow stealer.

@Lolaze Yes, I think it is right to indulge her in chicken and other meats. I think she is very affectionate and feminine.

I'm glad you got something to help you sleep. Insomnia is no darn fun. I bet the dog thinks that chicken is manna from heaven! I'm glad she is feeling better. I do hope she will be okay in the long run.

I hope your dog gets well soon! Get some more sleep! I have been up for 48 hours....I don't know when I will sleep.
