I need a better diet plan.

Diets are so important. I am a binge eater. I feel good. I don't take any medications at all. My anti-depressant is food. I find food also good for enjoyment and living. I need to improve as there are times I just eat too much. As soon as I get a little stressed, think about the darkness in the world or even look at donald's face on the you tube, the light goes out and I find myself heading for the bright kitchen where all the escapes are. Healthy food and healthy computer screen?

I don't understand why Donald's face makes you want to eat. I'm sure that other people feel like puking when they see his face.

@mynameiskate I tried sticking to 1200 calories per day (myfitnesspal) I was grumpy and crabby. Now I am doing Weight Watchers and I get enough to eat

I'm doing the same and cutting back at the same time. Side effect seems to be crabby and I don't mean food type.

I too need to stop eating so much, but mine does come from being stressed out because of my living conditions.

What are your living conditions like? I shouldn't complain because I might have it good compared to others. Certainly you can always find someone worse off. Regardless though stress can creep up on yah and for me sometimes those stressors seem so silly after.

It's hard to change from a binge eater. So, the best thing to do would be to binge on healthy foods and snacks. If you have an Aldi close by, they are excellent for healthy alternatives and non-GMO food. I get a lot of my food there and yes, healthy snacks too. And just because they're healthy, doesn't mean they taste awful. They taste great! I picked up some healthy ice cream a couple of weeks ago.

@mynameiskate That's good you're eating fruits and veggies for your snacks. There are great alternatives to those chocolate bars at Aldi.

Thanks for the advice. Yesterday I had several bowls of mixed fruit cut up with yogurt and milk. I added a little sugar. Didn't have to do that but couldn't resist. I love whole grains breads and made myself a couple of sandwich's with ripe tomatoes. In the evening decided on enjoying a small milk chocolate bar. Life is short. If I can find another thing or other things besides food that gives me some satisfaction? Working on this now.

I hope you eat healthy foods and not junk. You can try doing smoothies as well since they are a lot healthier and you will reduce your eating

I'm really trying hard. I've lost weight in the past and curbed this food escape habit. Just need another outlet I'm thinking in those times. Thanks I look at smoothies.

It does work for me too but if it works against me and does so if I eat too much and I become a balloon then - - - I get another type of stress.

I tend to binge eat too but it has nothing to do with stress. I eat because I enjoy it
