Storm rolling in

The storm is rolling in now. We have heavy rains and lightning going on right now. As of this morning they were saying storms tomorrow, I guess it got here early. They are still calling for storms tomorrow too. I guess I will just sit here and watch the storm out the window. If we are lucky this will take the humidity with it and hopefully cool off. Today while it was sunny the high got up to 92 F (33 C) and the heat index topped at 99 F (37 C). It was quite warm all day. The temp now has dropped to 87 F (30 C) in the last hour so I guess that is a good thing. Hope the storm doesn't get to bad. I did pull out the the battery generators and flash lights just in case the power decides to go out. I hope not since the A/C still needs to be on. Doesn't look like it is going to pass by anytime soon. Hope you all have a good night/day.

I hope your storms won't be too severe and you won't lose power.

@Bensen32 That's great news, I hate when we lose power.

@gr8nana6 We don't lose it often but it does suck when it does happen.

I hope your power didn't go out. We are supposed to have a chance of thunderstorms over the next couple of days. Like you, I hope it drops the humidity.

Hopefully your power didn't go out. That's the worst part of losing power, when your AC can't run. I can handle not having any lights, TV or internet, but man don't take away my AC! haha

We always make sure we know where the torches are when a storm is expected.

Yeah, I always know where they are but I will pull a few out and set them up around me so I have them within easy reach.

The weather has been very hot & somewhat humid here in SW Missouri too. Our forecast says temps should drop into the 80's for Monday and Tuesday with thunderstorms too. We need the rain and the cooler temps are welcome.

The storm did not take the humidity with it so still very sticky outside.

It may sound like an old fashion. We always have candles at home. If there is a power outage during the typhoon, we can have some of them.

That is a good idea, we have some too that we will light in the living room and one in the bathroom but don't like to walk around the house with them. Don't want to take chances of dropping them or anything.

Hope you're all safe there. Storms are dangerous. We are always visited by storms 21 times a year.
