Our country has more than 84000 Covid Cases

I was shocked upon hearing the news a while ago that our country has surpassed Mainland China for having more than 84000 Covid Cases. I do really hope that a cure/vaccine for this virus will be developed soon. Many people who tested positive are those who travel from home to work. They use public transporation and unfortunately, contract the disease. What about you? How does your country battle against Covid-19?

That's very sad news when I also saw that. I guess it's because they allow malls to open so there are more possible reasons people are getting infected.

Sorry that many people in the Philippines have caught this terrible virus. In the UK this virus has been strong enough to kill some people. The UK government gave our country a lock down for people over 70 years old as they are most at risk. Schools were closed for ages and my daughter's school reopened. I let her go back to it. Now all schools have broken up for the summer holidays. The government said it is a legal requirement to wear a mask in shops and all supermarkets. Also masks must be worn on all public transport like buses and trains.

Wow. Japan has 36300 as of right now (supposedly) but part of that is because they have finally started more rigorous testing. I think we probably have had much more than that. Stay safe.
