Bowling time

So we had a fun afternoon. We took the kids to go bowling. They got there 1 free bowling as well as both me and my husband just paid for our shoes. We got the kids some lunch there. We had to wear mask the whole time which wasn’t a big deal. But the kids had a good time. I came in second with my husband taking the lead. I even got the extra turn to bowl at the end.

It certainly can be fun. Rolling a bowl down the land to hit a bunch of pins. It’s super cheap too for us since our kids have the bowling pass.

Yes. Everywhere we go where we live is you need a mask. They did take it off to eat which is allows but other wise they have to keep it on and they told us when we walked in and told them we are good with that. We also tried to make clean up easier for them.

I love bowling! Sadly, our local bowling alley hasn't re-opened yet due to COVID. I hear it's going to be soon though.

Ours just reopened this week. We didn’t think they would but we called before we went to make sure they where open and if there food bar was open. We figured the kids could use a little fun. They get bored being at home all of the time.

@moffittjc I’m glad to. It was a good time. Even though we only did one game at least it was for free and for 5 us to just get shoes it’s like $15

@ShyBear88 Bowling is a nice way to spend a day with the kids doing something fun the whole family loves. I'm glad your bowling alley re-opened.

We go every few months. Typically more during the summer months but this is the first since probably before the New Year. I think we went around winter break.

I wouldn’t say this is a game zone. We didn’t test the kids play the video game just bowling and we called all of the rules. They have only been open since Monday because they couldn’t before handed.

@piyushbhatia1 I think some places have arcades still. Last year we saw one in the mall that is 3 hours for us by the beach. The kids thought that was interesting but we didn’t go into it.

I’m alway with my kids by there day has work 3 nights a week so we try to do something fun every few weeks. This is one they always seem to enjoy.
