Happy Jamaican Independence Day!

Today is a super big holiday in Jamaica! We’re celebrating 58 years of freedom from the British! Music is playing loud EVERYWHERE! People are smiling, more than usual, and that’s ALOT! Today feels like a great day! And after living here 8 years I finally feel the excitement of the holidays for the first time.

My country birthday is at 9 August and this year we are celebrating 55 years of freedom.
