Starting a new puzzle

This one is 500 pieces instead of the 1000 piece ones we did before. Hopefully I'll be able to do it by myself without my neighbor's help. It is called "Birds of Paradise" and features many different beautiful birds. It reminds me of my beloved Scarlett who passed away back in February.
I'm sure it will frustrate me but at least it will keep me occupied for awhile. How have you been passing this lockdown time lately?

I've been picking up my guitar again, for one thing. If I had a table, maybe upstairs, I would probably do jigsaw puzzles. Because of the cat it's not practical to do them downstairs here where she is. I can just imagine, lol. But I do acrostic puzzles, I love those. I've always liked word puzzles. Other than that, I'm usually online chatting or watching something. I also started writing content at a site an old myLot friend told me about. She doesn't come here anymore. But so far i'm really lazy about it. I have been out of a "working" mode for so long now it's hard to discipline myself.

I'm 3/4 done with a 500-piece puzzle. This one has been a doozy. It's taking me much longer than my usual 2-3 days. There are 12 puzzles in the box - 4 each of 100 pieces, 300 pieces and 500 pieces AND I just received a new box of 4 500-piece puzzles from Amazon (free with my credits). I have plenty to keep me busy for a while.
