Reusable vs disposable shopping bag

I realize that reduce plastic garbage is very important for this earth. Since the garbages already fullfill the earth. Even the plastic which is cannot be decomposed for a thousand years. But i often forget to bring my own shopping bag. Here almost all of modern shops charge the plastic shop bags. But i still often forgetting to bring it when shopping. Do you always bring your shopping bag from home?

@HannahKusKus here supermarkets no longer have plastic bags for free. I carry a canvas bag in my purse, it is light.

the plastic bags used to be for free. then the supermarket started charging for it to encourage people to bring their own bags. some do, some don't. then they stopped using plastic and switched to paper bags and boxes. some still don't bring their own bag so they go home carrying 2 paper bags in their arms. our family started using reusable bags when they started charging for it. i always have 1 in my bag if i go mall shopping. but if i go to the supermarket for groceries here, i bring 2 and my wallet.

I used to bring my own shopping bags, but now with Covid-19, I order everything online. The stores either deliver in plastic bags with no charge now for safety's sake or in paper bags - all at no charge. I throw them all away. I wouldn't feel comfortable using my own shopping bags to stores.

That's right @DianneN, we have to adjust many things, even a every single things, like the shopping habbit. Yes i agree to be aware for that. Today is better using disposable to avoid the spreading virus

If I'm at campus, I always bring my own bag. It's easy. When the cashier puts all things in a few plastic bags, people thought I shop too much

Good idea... especially when you buy a food and drink. Do not show to your friend. Keep it save at your own bag. Thank's a lot for dropping by, @Adie04
