Trying to Change My Sleeping Patterns

Since I'm running a business as well as I work online, I think it's about time to change my sleeping patterns. I usually work at night for my online job. That makes me feel sluggish to deal with my buyers during day time. I need to start sleeping at night again. The attempt is not yet successful since I was able to sleep at 1 AM and after two hours, I'm awake again. So now, I'm planning to be up for the entire day so that I can sleep at night and work very early in the morning instead. That way, I can deal with my business as well while writing. I know it will be a challenge to change my body clock again but I have to live like normal people from where I am. It gets harder to be awake during the day since it's draining my energy faster. But I have to do what needs to get done if I want to achieve success in both worlds.

I wish you the best of luck. I have accepted my nocturnal ways, I cannot go to sleep any earlier than 2am or else I will only sleep for a couple of hours and not be rested at all. I started listening to white noise, such as rain fall, to help me sleep and stay asleep and it has been quite affective!

The problem with me is I am fully awake at night and sleep around 9AM already. But I need to make this change to at least sleep while it's still dark.

@DesirousDreamer Sometimes the hardest enemy is ourselves. It's not easy to change that habit but somehow, it should happen.

@cherriefic I used to be really bad until I had the discipline myself to get to bed no later than 2am. I put away all of my electronics and just lie there until somehow I fall asleep. Some nights I do go passed the 2am mark, the last few nights I have been staying up until 4am which I am not a fan of, but I still wake up at the same time every day and take no naps to help me get more tired for the next night.

It is not easy to shift to another sleeping time. Give yourself a week.

Wow, that's a normal sleeping habit even though it's a bit late. I'd rather have that than be awake all night.
