My Lunch Today

I am trying to eat more vegetables but they are not very interesting. Today, I fried up a bunch of onions and ate them on a couple of hot tortillas spread with cheese. It was actually pretty good. I never tried that before. Have you ever made a strange combination for lunch? What did you eat? Was it good?

I love veggies and I have to eat them everyday or else there is something lacking in my meals. I prepare them colorful to make them delicious to eat

I am supposed to eat mostly vegetables but they are so boring. My neighbor gave me some sweet potatoes yesterday so will nuke one today.

@akalinus It really depends on the veggie. It could be raw, in a soup, baked or fried. Like with okra, I will only eat it fried.

@simone10 I did not grow up eating okra so I really don't like it much. I might try baking or frying some veggies and see how I like them.

@akalinus I like to add cheese, sometimes ranch dressing, bacon bits are good. Depends on the veggie.

Yeah sometimes I come up with combinations that I think nobody would. Such as spaghetti and sausage haha

Both my husband and I like vegetables, we surely tried unusual combinations, but nothing comes to my mind right now... well yes, a soup made with papaya and garlic, it is delicious.

@akalinus I do not know if it is strange but it was really very tasty. I made garlic bread with my spaghetti and put tuna on it and ate it. It was really good and filling.
