My 8 year old found he received from one of his friends a $25 amazon gift card. So I pulled up my account but his card in and then asked him what he wanted. He wanted to look at some Dragonball Z action figures. I told him okay and put it in to the search and let him look at whatever he wanted. I also made sure to tell him it had to be less then $25. Once he found the one he wanted I just double check to make sure he didn’t go over the $25 and places the order. He found this action for $20 which is a fare price for it. I told him it should be here tomorrow.

@Michellekidwell I’ll get a text once it gets close enough and I’ll let him know then. Also our Alexa will tell us it’s been dropped off as well.

He got to pick it so it doesn’t surprise me that he is excited about it. Hopefully he doesn’t bug me all day asking me when it’ll be here.

When my kids were younger and they were ordering something they wanted with their own money, I remember their excitement well. The excitement was contagious.

Any time he gets something with our without gift cards, cash, someone sending it to him he gets excited if he knows it’s coming. I told him a few weeks back that him and his siblings where getting some clothes from amazon and he was thrilled that his Grammy sent him so clothes.
