Only four more months left of 2020

Wouldn't it be wonderful if on January 1, 2021 the world became a magical place with no Covid19, no social distancing, and NO MASKS! Yeah, I know, I'm not a realist, just a wishful thinking woman. I wonder, though, how the year 2021 will actually be. Will the virus be declining? Will we get to have church inside the building, will we be safe to hug people again? And please God, let us get rid of the masks. I'm thankful that our lives haven't been as adversely affected as some. Since we're retired, we haven't had to worry about jobs that may not be there in the future. We don't have small children so we don't have to home school and then still work from home at the same time. It's been horribly hard for so many on the planet. I pray something good will come from all this. What are your dreams and wishes for the future after Covid19?

I hope it goes back to normal but I really wonder if it will if all the fear will go away. Praise God it will.

It would be wonderful to wake up on January 1st, 2021 and find the world as it was before Covid 19. It is not impossible, just continue hoping.

@1creekgirl I love your thinking, and wish that could happen. I guess I am just waiting to see what will be. I guess I do not make wishes because I am not sure they will ever come true.

Yes, isn't it strange that for all the changes in our lives, it still seems like the year is going by fast.

It has been a tough year. I just retired in June, and so many things like you make me glad I am retired. My hope is that they'll have a vaccine.

2020 is a tough year but by the grace of God it still has a chance to redeem itself in the last quarter I hope Pandemics based on history usually linger a few years. What worries me is the post pandemic recession or depression that is sure to occur with all the joblessness , business closing or had closed and paper money countries printed to fight the virus especially the U.S. Federal reserved that printed dollars in the trillions in such a short span of time. I'm already learning how to cope, my 2 children that are still studying have now started attending their online classes.

I am hoping that the vaccine becomes available at the end of the year. Maybe we will be able to go on our anniversary trip, albeit a year late, next year. Have a great Tuesday.

Anymore I have no idea what the near future looks like. I tend to think we hear less and less of Covid after Trump is reelected. I have cynically thought that much of this scare has to do with the dems wanting to portray a dire situation. It becomes more clear as I now hear many democrat governors are reclosing things all over—causing more unrest, more unemployment, more economic damage... And one key thing for me that it has more to do with election than anything else is that as they are closing these things they keep citing "lack of federal support." That goes right to Trump. So, at the expense of everyone, the dems are creating havoc, devastation, disaster, and scaring the hell out of people with help from the accomplice media.

I am also wishful like you but somewhere deep down my intellect says that I am not realist. But then miracles do happen and this time the whole humanity badly needs one

I think when Covid is over we'll have a far more grateful world. At least for awhile. I think things might be better next year.

I hope in 2021 the virus will be gone. I read online where they think the virus will hang around for a long time. I hope that is not true.
