Ladies at the garage

So I take my car to the garage and I have to inspect the mechanic as they service my car. Today it was a lot of work with the radiator being replaced, brakes pads replaced and the exhaust pipe welded a bit. People find it odd that a pretty Lady has to go the garage but I love it. It makes me feel responsible and ‘powerful’. Do you ladies do this and do you men allow your women to take their cars to the garage?

It is common here that women bring their cars to the garage.

I have many friends who don't do it. It has to be taken by the husband, brother or father simply because they say its a 'man's job'

I let hubs drop our cars off at our dealerships. I don't know a thing about cars. Heck, I don't even fill them with gas. Good for you! You are very impressive!

If they own the car they should be the one sending it to garage for maintenance or fix.

I like that. It gives one knowledge to understand cars and they can tell when there is a problem

When you take the vehicle to the garage you understand it better.

Are you working on a car or a plane? I don't know any cars with propellers. I always take my car to the garage when it needs fixing.

My wife is usually afraid to go since she believes they will literally take her for a ride.

I usually research on possible issues and solutions before going to the garage. When I'm there, you would think I'm a professional and they will fear taking advantage of me

I am "allowed" to do what I want. But I don't handle the garage any more. Used to when I was on my own.
