The delicious cactus fruit

This is the uncommon fruit i tasted once in my life.It has been 10 years back since the last time i saw and have eaten it in middle east country.
In Syria,i saw a large plantation of it.
That was the time,i got surprised that cactus has a fruit and can be eaten.
The color i have tried is yellow.But there's also a violet one.It taste like kiwi and some what dragon fruit.
Anyone who has a cactus fruit bearing plant?
Have you tasted cactus fruit?

Long back may be two years back had brought two cactus with yellow fruit... I kept at the balcony later two days I saw that the yellow fruit is vanished..... I wondered how it happened ... then through my neighbor I came to know it is a tasty fruit might have consumed by birds or insects ... that is how I got a know information that cactus fruits can be consumed and its is tasty... lucky that the fruit of your cactus was safe for your need.
