Dental price got doubled

Philippines

It's crazy how price of services now a days had gone up. A few months I had a barber cut and from the price of 1$ to 1.40$. Then I had a tooth filling yesterday and it was a shocking 20$ when it was half the price few years back. I'm supposed to have an extraction too but I cancelled it for next month. It looks okay for now since I no longer feel the toothache. I'm blessed that they're still operational despite this pandemic and price here is still low compare to other countries. Btw they made wear a disposable PPE before the procedure, no swab or rapid test.

Hello @toniganzon I agree, everything is expensive now because of lack of labor and PPEs

it is quite ironic because everyone is struggling financially and yet prices have gone up.

@Letranknight2015 I wonder if I'd be scared if I worked with people known to have the virus.

Yes prices are shooting up. In our country however inflation has been controlled to a great extent in last few years. Inflation is a part of growing developing economy.
