Do you see an improvement soon?

When do you consider that this situation with the covid will really have an end?, regardless of whether the vaccine comes out soon or not; I would like to know when you think that in your country or being more specific in the city where you live, things will improve in relation to health. In my country, absolutely everything is a disaster to the point that people ignore the fact of the existence of the covid to continue with their working life. I personally think that where I live will be one of the last places to have some kind of improvement. what do you think?

Covid, if it is in fact real, is a virus. It won't ever have an "end". At some point, other countries will need to follow your country's example and allow people to move on with their lives. Just like any other virus, it's here to stay and we need to learn to live with it. Some people may die, others may survive but have long term side effects. That's just life. Same with the flu, Chickenpox, or any other illness. It becomes a part of life. I know that might sound morbid or cold, but it doesn't make it any less true. Take a look at history and the millions upon millions of desies and illnesses we've faced as humans. People used to die from the common cold, or did not know how to treat a simple cut. At one point, people believed blood letting would cure almost anything. We've proven how bogus those beliefs were, but at one time, people didn't know any better and hadn't learned any other method. At one time, Katchup was considered medicine. This pandemic will just be one more thing to add to history books for future generations of children to look back on and go 'glad I didn't live back then'. What people should be more concerned with, are the social and ecconemical impacts that counteries have done to themselves to "rid us of the virus". Children are being tought to keep their distance. They are made to wear masks. Someone who has social anxiety and depression is being validated when they don't want close contact with people. People bully each other on social media over wearing masks, social distancing and more. Here in the U.S. riots have broken out over small things. Cops are no longer respected. Statues of our past, our history, are vandalized or destroyed. For a country that's supposed to be united, because we are a democerocy, it's just all but backfired on us. No one person is really in power. Each state, each city, follows their own rules. It stopped being about health and safety a long time ago.

I've seen the news about the situation in the US; I see a lot of uncertainty around the world and wanted to know everyone's perspective on an improvement, either soon or in a long time

@andresbp6 When people realize this virus won't ever end, or go away or be cured. There will be improvment. When people stop blaming it for every little thing, there will be improvment. Until then, nothing will change.

As far as the government itself, I dont think anything is improving in aspects where we can rule out Covid with a fixed timetable.. for us it is indefinite. People here wear masks and faceshields, and I have already stopped checking the news but I am still afraid that it will spread anytime.. I cannot say if we developed immunity, because how can I tell? I can see that today we are starting to be lax and get used to having this virus around.
