Alanii has arrived!!

On October 11th our family received a precious gift from heaven! My FIRST granddaughter was born 11 days early, weighing in at 5 pounds 9 ounces and 19 inches long. Alanii Renee Davis has arrived!!!! My daughter Jasmine was lucky to have a quick and easy delivery, with the father by her side. I was so worried she would have to endure all the "fun" of labor alone because of Covid; thankfully she had all the support she needed as he really stepped up to the plate (another worry of mine). I am so proud of my daughter- she is going to be such a great mom! Looking forward to meeting my granddaughter is an understatement. I am beyond excited and ever so anxious. My original plan to head to California the minute contractions began came to a screeching halt due to some unforeseen circumstances (discussed in my next post).
