Communication is vital, but Comprehension is Key.

A person can speak what's on their mind and in their heart, but ears without the ability to comprehend are mute to all but their own thoughts. The way in which you approach any person to discuss any topic, greatly effects the value of it. While it's great to goof around and have a laugh, nothing sticks in your memories quite like a discussion that touches your soul.  A conversation about the weirdly wonderful experiences of life. When you connect with a person in such a way, talks are seldom, if ever laboured and leave you feeling enriched rather than drained. Treasure Your People.

Treat others like how you want them to treat you. The key to communicating is listen. Which I find some people are lacking.

You might overlook something here. The ear has no ability to comprehend. It's the mind. The ear functions to hear.

Treasure your people is a wonderful thing to say. A discussion is better than laughing around. Know what you are aiming for. It is wise to listen to what the people and respond back with relevant material. I like to feel enriched rather than drained.

Well said. Comprehension along with compassion would cure most of the world's ills if used all the time.
