Across the world, we bless our children throughout the year! It is our tradition - apart from the regular blessings - we bless the senior-most child with lots of blessings and gifts in front of the moon, today! Today is full moon day! We call it Ashwini - JeshtyaAptya-Niranjan! Do you have any particular traditions?

I don't have this kind of tradition. How do you celebrate this special day? Is there something you need to do for it, like fasting or making special dishes for it?

That is a good question! No fasting but we prepare milk blended with all the available dry fruits!
