Have you ever been stung by bees? / myLot

We have several bee hives at home and my dad and two brothers always go to harvest the honey. They always dress safely when going there and they only harvest at night when the bees are not so active. They however come back sometimes when they have been stung by the bees and their faces and wherever they are stung swells up alot. Personally, I have been stung by a bee a few times but my body has never swelled up so much. What about you?

I had experienced once but the affected area didn't swell. I heard that it is more fatal if being stung by a wasp.

Yeah, the stings of wasps are much worse that those of bees.

@a_jerobon I had seen my colleague bitten by ut. The affected part was so swollen.

I have been stung once and it hurt like heck. My son is allergic to bee stings, so must be very careful around them.

@a_jerobon As far as I remember I was stung twice by a bee. I accidentally sat on one and was stung by one. I like honey and know it is important but I do not like bees.

I don't remember anymore. But my husband, yes. He was rushed to the hospital after that.

I used to when I was kid. But it was nothing serious. I was just an active kid who love to wonder, even to places where I shouldn't. I live in a rural area too, so there's a lot of places I should stay away. Well, kids.
