So my husband requested off of work for the kids Spring break at the end of March being of April. Not sure what we will do but he is off while the kids are off from school. Hopefully we can plan a short vacation and take the kids to go see there great grandparents for the weekend. It would take 9 hours to get there but the kids would like to go. If not I’ll look into maybe renting a small beach house or something for a few days.

@rakski I always know his schedule. He works Monday-Friday and one to two Saturday a month for 4 hours. He typically works 7:45am to 5pm.

Not grandparents great grandparents. They see their grandparents often since they live close by. Like a few minutes down the road. Not sure yet if it’ll be that or the beach or maybe going to the lake

We don’t drive 9 hours straight we would run out of gas if that happened. We would stop like every 3 hour or maybe a little longer. The kids have done 23 hour drive from VA to NO. It’s practically a 2 day drive

March/ april? But it's still really long. Is that his office's policy? Grandchildrens are always excited to see their grandparents.

He is a nurse so they have a fix schedule at his doctor office. So the further out he knows he wants time off he can requested and see if he gets approved for paid time off. They might just approve time off but not time off that is there choice to make in HR. They only need 6 weeks noticed but like I said the further out the better it is. Actually March/April isn’t that far off it’s less than 6 months away. They are not there grandparents they are the kids great grandparents
