Howdy MyLot! I hope all are doing well and are well into enjoying your weekends!
So, I do this thing in my physical journal called, "Random Thoughts," and I thought why not? They will work well here too as I have done them on a forum before. Some of you might get a kick out of my strange brain...
Stormy's Random Thoughts:
I am dreading going through another sugar detoxification. It must be done though. I'm ingesting far too much sugar.
My NaNoWriMo projects are coming along nicely.
Too many ideas for future books and not enough time.
Time. What a concept! We either have too much of it or not enough. I vary on that a lot. We are all given the same 24 hours in a day. What we do with them is the key!
I love my furbabies. I really want to find a large pup that will grow into a large dog to explore the farm with me. Companion, furbaby, protector, friend. The list is endless.
I'm cold then hot; freezing then burning up; why can't I find a happy medium?
The best mix I can think of in way of a pup is St. Bernard and Rottie!! I would love to find one like that!

Sugar detoxification just entails stopping all sugar that isn't naturally occurring like in fruit. I got sick with a cold and the sugar detoxification just happened during that. I had no idea that was why I was sick for as long as I was.
NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. They have a website, nanowrimo.org and every November we all set a goal to write 50,000 words in 30 days. It's fantastic!
I'm a cross-genre author. I write horror, thriller, suspense, and psycho-thrillers, but I write a little bit of absolutely everything in my books. I self-published one back in 2009 but am rewriting that one as I got in a hurry and did not put it through proper editing, and I regret that. I am working on six different novels this month.
A tisket, a tasket just means one or the other. There is a poem...
A tisket, a tasket, a red and yellow basket... I don't remember the rest off the top of my head.

That NaNoWriMo thing is interesting. Is it only one month every year on Novembers? I might check out their site when I find some time.

@Dreamerby I did once. It's not like I like to write but sometimes I just do. I send a complete manuscript to the publisher. Whether they publish it or not is a different story.

@Hannihar Cats are okay, I'm just not a cat person. I like all animals though. I have taken care of, rescued, nursed back to health, bottle-raised, and more so many animals I doubt I could list them all. I was a licensed wild animal rehabilitationist at one time. My license didn't transfer when I moved back to my home state though and I haven't gotten one here. Now that we have the farm, I may have to investigate that again.

@StormyRainStevens She’s a mix though you can’t tell by looking. She is half shepherd quarter Stafford and quarter Jack Russel.

Love Shepherds too! We might get a shepherd mix in December. They were just born a week or so ago. We'll have to wait and see.

St. Bernard; Rottweiler; Shepherd; Great Pyrenees; Burmese Mountain; Newfoundland... I will adopt and more than likely it will be a mixed breed.
