I Had A Wonderful Sunday

Today is Sunday.Today morning a friend of mine,who lives in a village ,called me. He invited me to join him in his birthday party in the afternoon.
I went to his village by my bike. His village is 90 kms from my house amidst jungles.
Having arrived there I was surprised to see that I was the only one who my friend had invited.Later he told me he knew nobody except me would like to cover 75 miles across jungles to take part in a party at a small village.
I had a wonderful time with my friend and his relatives.It was a simple party.
When I left for home,my friend and all others accompanied me to the village border.
I'm back home.It was a wonderful Sunday for me.

That is a long way to go. That was nice that you could help your friend celebrate his birthday. I bet that meant a lot to him that you would bike all that way for him. That is nice they rode with you some of the way. I am glad you arrived home safely. So glad you had good time.

@Hannihar Thanks, my friend.Actually all my friends know very well that I love villages and jungles.They, on the other hand, like to spend time in towns and cities.My friend knew if he invited all his friends,nobody would like to take pains to go 90 kms across dense jungles.That's why he invited me only.I had a nice time at the village, and the credit goes to my friend who invited me.

it feels so good when someone put some efforts for us.

@Raj7779 I live in a small town that is surrounded by jungles.Cover 5 kms from my house and you will find yourself near a small jungle. Before corona I used to go there every evening.

And yes, what I actually felt after my friend invited me is that I got excited.I love jungles and villages and he had provided me an opportunity I was unable to let go.

@prinzcy Thanks for responding.Yes,it was a long journey,but I was very excited because I had an opportunity to drive through a dense jungle, something I love to do.We had been close friends since our school days.

@id_peace Thanks for responding.It took me exactly 1.32 hours to reach the village and a little less than 2 hours to reach my place.It was a pleasant and exciting trip.

@Janet357 Thanks for responding.Yes, it was a pleasant and refreshing trip and I had a great time with my friend and his relatives.It there. Biking across a jungle is risky,but very challenging as well.

@GodServantme I enjoy sitting and roaming in beaches either,but the nearest beach is 500 kms from here.I have visited it many times.
