Rain Earlier Now Lots of Wind

Lots of hard rain hit the windows early this morning. Now the wind is very strong. But we have lots of sunshine. Should be a good day.
My cousin in ICU has another sister, I am not close to her, but she is in the hospital with COVID. Her husband had it last week. Seems to never end.
Hoping for the best for everyone out there. Difficult times for many. Stay safe.
The photo reminded me of myself as I went out to feed the birds!

i'd wondered where my rain'd gone ;) jest winds here, yesterdays quite brutal 'n bone chillin' e'en though the temp 'twas 69. a small reprieve 's such jest stopped 'n the early morn 'fore dawn near angelic'n 'ts presence. not soon 'fter dawns greetin' the winds 're back, though milder.
very sad news goin' with yer family, hon. will add yer other cousin to those close't heart.

@CarolDM so yer winds subsided? thankfully ours's calmed a bit ('bout 18mph) so's feedin' the horses'll not be quite 's interestin' 's their breakfast meals.
i can empathize with ya, hon. we've lost 2 family members thus far durin' all 'this'. the miles haunt'cha, ya sit home'n wait whilst yer heart'd rather be there. yer welcome ~

@crazyhorseladycx Finally. It is dark now and a calm cold night is coming. 30s later.
I lost my uncle back in the summer. So far that is all. So many have been sick. I hope it gets better soon.

We managed to survive the thunderstorms unscathed. There were winds in our area of 71 mph. I'm sorry to hear that the virus is not taking a break. The US is in dire straits. People need to wear masks and practice social distancing...but so many do not.

Your image is perfect as we have similar weather here to. Out rain began in the night and it was very windy earlier but we don't have the sunshine. Still it's a bright day at least and not too gloomy. I just hope the winds sure down before we put the trash out for the morning. Done need a mess to clean up.

I know we need rain here, but, I am happy when I do not have to be out in it, but, wind is worse. That is not good that the other sister has the virus and is in the hospital. You are right at that it seems like it goes on and on and on. I hope you and the cats and birds stay safe too.
