Sumatran elephants are a subspecies of Asian elephants that only live on the island of Sumatra. The Sumatran elephant is smaller than the Indian elephant subspecies. Its population is decreasing and it is a very threatened species
This is a photo when I visited the zoo, I hope this animal can pass the ages and avoid the threat of extinction

Yeah i know Way Kambas National Park (TNWK) is an elephant protection national park located in the Lampung area, precisely in Labuhan Ratu District, East Lampung, Indonesia. but I've never been there

I really like elephants. It is interesting in Indonesia you have a sub species of the Asian elephant. We traveled to India and there we went on a safari. On it we saw two Asian elephants. Years before that I went to Kenya where I saw African elephants. I went to the island of Sumatra in 1994.
