Hubby was supposed to have a procedure at 2 this afternoon. We were just getting around and he got a call at 9:15. The caller thought he was doing one thing, he had to tell them the procedure he was now scheduled for. Then they said: you need a covid test before we can do that. Get here before 11:30. We hurried and got around. He received a rapid test and they put us in an isolation waiting room. I do not know if that was to protect him, or others. He is negative for covid. We got in early to the procedure. Learned nothing new about his ongoing problem, but he has no infection now and his PSA is 0.0 which is great as he is a cancer survivor and elevated PSA is an indicator. So that was our day. We had sandwiches and yogurt with us for lunch.

Problem may just be old age and worn out muscles.

It is a good thing that he is negative. Did you have yourself the test, too?

No, they did not test me, and so I was surprised they let me in the building. They did take my temperature and ask me some screening questions.

@GardenGerty It also happens here. We need to have swab testing only if leaving my city for traveling to other cities or provinces.

The buildings are like a labyrinth, and the nurse that was taking us up to surgery took us to the wrong place and left us. She had never worked this part of the building, or in the daytime. Every single person there is tremendously friendly and caring. I appreciate keeping our germs to ourselves.

They test the patients to protect the others, one infected patient could infect a dozen inside the hospital. I am glad he has a low PSA.

I guess to protect the medical staff. They do not test me. I was actually surprised they let me in the building.
