Tutu Dress

My two-year old daughter loves her pink tutu dress so much. There came a time that she would always look for it after taking a bath. My elder sister and my mother decided to buy her more of the same kind last September (upper left photo). Pink and (sometimes) purple are the only ones she likes to wear everyday (literally). So, my sister decided to buy additional pink and purple. I am just glad she is okay to pair it with any pajamas because I always want her to wear one, since she is too active. I wonder when will she get tired of the same dresses.

My little daughter is also love to wear dress. But the strange thing is she doesn't like her dress. She wants her sister's dress (my oldest daughter is 12). Thats why I always hide my oldest daughter's dress.

So cute of your daughter. Speaking of your daughter's liking to big dress, my daughter is fascinated by bigger shoes, on the other hand. She likes wearing my elder sister's and husband's shoes.

When she decides the phase is over. That could take some time, though.

@jdbces You should. Kids grow up so fast. Before you know it, you'll be dealing with dating.

@kaylachan I always hear about mothers wanting to stop time. I always remind myself that too.

I love those. My granddaughter wore them at ballet, but later they made them to wear to school and parties. I had two a few years ago.

@jdbces Yes, a black strapless dress and another strapless dress white on top with black tutu bottom. I wore one of them once with a white shirt tied at the waist. I was a hit at the parties!

So cute to imagine it with your granddaughter. Do you mean, you also wore something like this for an occasion?

Thank you. I'm caught between waiting for her to get tired of it so that she could wear comfy clothes at home but at the same time wanting to live at the moment, to enjoy this phase with her.

Yes, she does. Very difficult to make her wear another kind. Tutu is like a ballet dress. It's really funny because, she's just usually at home.

Thank you so much. I guess you're right. I really just have to enjoy it while she does.
