One of the best delicacy that I coudnt resist to eat. My mom made this for us to fulfill our cravings and yes it is so delicious that i could eat everything she serves in the table. Greedy is me, me is being in a selfish mode when it comes to my favorite food.

Puto maya?What's puto maya? From my research it's sweet rice cakes cooked in coconut milk. Your Mim's puto maya is purple...is it from food coloring?

Your version of puto maya is different from what I was used to having when I still lived there. I am from Manila and we get our puto maya either from Batangas or Laguna, or sometimes Antipolo. It looks good though - it's been a while since I had fresh ripe mangoes.

No. The one that is in the leaf is what we call puto maya and the ripe mango there is just my fruit as a side dish
