Sooner or Later

The photo above has nothing to do with post. I found it on Pixabay and thought it was so cute. Yesterday I received some really sad news. My Uncle had passed away. I don't know how long he had been sick but he passed from covid. I'll wait a few days and then give my aunt a call. I know how I felt when Chuck passed away. I didn't want to talk to anyone. I had a feeling that covid was going to hit our family sooner or later but I honestly thought it would be my brother. He was out a lot and had all the risk favtors. He was taken from us this year but not from covid. I know so many of us have gone through a lot this year. I believe this has been the worst year ever for me. Next month will be a year since Bella passed away. I can't believe it's been a year already. Some days it seems like it was just yesterday. I'm feeling sad this Christmas. I haven't posted a lot because I don't want to bring anyone else down. I did buy an addition to our Christmas village. Chuck would add to it each year. I wanted to add a new house or store to add to the village but I don't remember what we already have. They are all packed up and I have no idea where my brother put them. I'm sure I will find all the decorations for next year.

I am sorry that your family lost a member to covid. It is hard to believe that it is almost a year since dear Bella passed. Not adding to your Christmas village will just be a break, you can buy a new piece next year after your heavy grieving for Chuck is over.

I am sorry for your loss, Sharon. I know how you feel. We lost an uncle too from covid. The saddest part is, we were not able to go and pay our last respects personally. :(

That is indeed sad. Despite our taking care, this virus is relentless in its assault. It is tough on the family to lose a loved one all of sudden.

So sorry. We all take it a day at a time when we go through loss. Do what you can, when you can. And it you decide to do nothing for awhile. that is ok. Take care of yourself.

I am so sorry for your losses. I get not doing decorations while grieving. I haven't done complete decorations for a long time. But always have a tree with lights Love sitting in the room with Christmas lights.
