Greetings everyone! This site was recommended by a fellow HubPage writer as a good place to interact with like-minded individuals. I thought that I would check it out. It was easy to set up a profile page. It is almost 9 P.M. in Houston, Texas, and the temperature is 69 degrees Fahrenheit. It was 74 degrees today as a high and will fall to a predicted 58 degrees tonight.

Well, howdy, Peggy! I may be in your neck of the woods for my winter holiday. I’m thinking about going to Galveston (haven’t been since I was a kid) when I need to escape the weather here.....providing the weather there is good, too!

Welcome and hope you enjoy it here. i am also a member of HubPages but have been inactive for sometime. It's a sunny day in our country today around noon of December 12. So today is a busy day for online shoppers because of the 12.12 sale.

I am active on HubPages and have been there for 12 years. Right now, comments are not enabled on old posts, and it is difficult to make comments unless you luck out and find it in the feed. Supposedly, that will be changed in the first half of next year. The sooner the better as far as I am concerned.

Sounds to me like it was here, though it barely reached 70. Felt warmer than it actually was. With the sun down, my husband was already complaining about it being too cold. Welcome to the site. This place can be quite fun, and you can earn a few bucks just by being active. So that's a good thing, too.
