My brother bought cat food for our feline friends here in the house . Two of them were nurturing or nursing their kittens . When I opened the plastic bag where the cat food was placed I can tell by its smell that it is delicious , it has a sweet citrus smell and the colors are catchy. I wonder how they taste like ? I can hear its crunchy because when our cats took a bite , I can hear it. Sometimes I get curious what does pet food taste like .

There's nothing to stop you having a nibble - just don't don't let the cats see you doing it, though!

When i was working for a pet food company, there was a product we were working on called "Ciao", which is a snack or treat for cats, apparently this product is safe for humans to consume as well, i tried it and i was shocked haha, it tasted like a tuna from the can haha.

They taste like fish. I didn't taste it, my friend did. It was blackout and they're using candles. Her grandparent added it on her meal, thought it was fried shallot. She had few bites before realizing what is was. But I am not encouraging you to try. You might get stomachache.

Cats once used to cat food would not like to turn back on home cooked food. It is better to avoid this cat food to save some money.

@msdivkar You have a point . I sometimes give them table food but they always have left overs they like catfood more. Plus I observe that when they eat table food they have smelly poops (sorry and excuse me ) but when they eat catfood there is no foul smell.
