20 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the Lord has made and I WILL rejoice and be glad in it.
I'm thankful for the privilege and opportunity to go to church. This morning we had our candlelight Christmas service singing many familiar Christmas songs. I also gave out many Christmas cards to friends.
I'm thankful for the Christmas cards I pulled out of the mailbox this morning when I got home from church. Thank you @JudyEv and @Elizaby for the beautiful cards. I also got one from a cousin. Above are all the cards I've received this Christmas. I know you can't see all the cards because there are a lot of them.
I'm thankful for the power nap. It was necessary as I was falling asleep at the computer.
It has been a good day, and now it's time to go to bed. I have pool and therapy first thing in the morning. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Power naps are good, but I’m thankful for long rests while recovering from a head cold. There is very little that is as beneficial in the way of medication as plenty of rest. I feel terrific now!

Sounds like you had a rather productive day. I am glad to hear it.
I'm thankful the weather was present, despite being overcast and threatening rain. I am thankful that yesterday had gone well, despite getting out so late. I'm thankful I got the dish washer done (I still have to empty it), but I'm just thankful in general.

Thank God for power naps. I take one every day on my lunch break. It's the only way I can make it through the entire day! lol

@just4him I was never a big fan of Christmas cards (or any holiday card for that matter), but I know that lots of people enjoy sending and receiving them.

@moffittjc My late ex's family wasn't either. I got out of the habit of sending cards when I was married. I got back in the habit after the divorce.

Thank you. I got two more today. Not from myLotters. Family. I treasure those cards. I don't throw them away when the season is over. I have all the cards from the past couple of years when I started sending cards to myLotters. They're wonderful memories of good friendships I've made here.

I just saw on the news people lining up to get food for the holidays. I am thankful that someone gifted me with a Walmart card and I bought groceries.

I remember back years and years ago when I would get so many Christmas cards. We used to hang them around the house as decoration.

Sunday I went to church. We are having a candlelight service tomorrow. I hope Chris (my boyfriend) is down in tome for him to come to the service. I got a Christmas card from my cousin too. I only have two so far. I will be opening my Christmas cards I got from the church on Thursday.
